Welcome to The Sunfish Series of Connecticut (SSOC)! We are excited to announce that our tradition begins now.

In 2024, SSOC will be hosting its first-ever regattas.  Four one-day Sunfish regattas will take place in Connecticut hosted by your local sailing clubs. SSOC regattas strive to promote local, friendly competition statewide while welcoming newcommers to traveling for local regattas. Cumulative scores from all four regattas determine series scores.

Sailors of all levels, whether novice or experienced are welcome. There will be separate divisions for each skill level.

SSOC regattas will be bare-bones, low-cost, friendly regattas open to all.

To foster a vibrant and inclusive sailing community across our four-day race series. Our mission is to bring together sailors of all skill levels—from those new to racing to seasoned Sunfish sailors—in an atmosphere of camaraderie, learning, and spirited competition.

Through SSOC, we aim to grow the Sunfish fleets of participating clubs, enhance the knowledge and skills of our sailors, and promote a lifelong passion for the sport of sailboat racing. We believe in the power of teamwork, the joy of sailing, and the lasting connections made on the water. Join us as we sail together, learn together, and race together.
